Dexter Garden Club
Member Trip
Sunday, June 4th -- Edsel & Eleanor Ford House
The club will pay for the bus and the garden tour for members. Each member may bring one guest who will also be paid for by the club. There will be additional charges for entry to the Ford House and for pre-booking lunch
8:15 am Meet outside Dollar Tree on Dexter Ann Arbor Road (7039 Dexter Ann Arbor Rd).
8:30 am Bus leaves from outside Dollar Tree
10:00 am Bus arrives at Edsel & Eleanor Ford House.
10:30 am Guided tour of the grounds and gardens.
11:30 am Member choice. Wander the gardens, eat lunch, or visit the house. Pre-booked lunches will be available during this time. The restaurant will not be available to our group.
If you wish to enter the house, you will need to book this independently via the Ford House website. We suggest you book a ticket time between 12:00 and 2:00 pm.
3:00 pm Meet back at the bus.
3:15 pm Bus leaves Ford house.
3:45 pm Arrive at Elmwood Arboretum and Cemetery
5:00 pm Meet back at bus & leave asap.
6:30 pm Arrive in Dexter

Join us for a Garden Club Meeting
Dexter Garden Club meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month September - May
Based on current conditions and recommendations, meetings will either be held on Zoom or at
St. Andrew's Church Fellowship Hall
(Park on 4th St or at the Historical Museum.
Enter through the white door on 4th St.)
Social Time 6:30 - 7:00 pm
Program begins at 7:00

To raise awareness of the joys and rewards of gardening and of the need to conserve the environment through education and community beautification.
What's the best thing about our club?
We are passionate about plants, with a wide spectrum of member interests ranging from vegetables and flowers to pollinator and native gardens. Our members' backgrounds range from beginners to Master Gardeners. There is something for everyone.
